Making FuelEU Maritime Work in Cyprus: Compliance and Pooling in Practice

Limassol, Cyprus | 10 Sept 2026 | 17:00–19:00
Registration is open until 3 Sept 2026
Join NAPA, Ahti Climate and Steamship Mutual for an evening seminar in Limassol on what the first FuelEU Maritime compliance cycle has taught the industry – and how to act on it before the next one closes. Following successful editions in Japan, Norway and Turkey, this seminar brings the conversation to Cyprus, one of the world’s largest concentrations of shipowners and third-party ship managers.
The first FuelEU Maritime reporting period is behind us. Balances were verified in March 2026, flexibility decisions were locked in by the 30 April 2026 deadline, and the first Documents of Compliance were issued in June 2026. So where do we stand now and what to do next?
FuelEU Maritime has been in force since January 2025, introducing greenhouse gas intensity limits for ships trading in the EU/EEA. As compliance strategies take shape across the industry, this seminar provides a focused, practical look at the regulation, pooling mechanisms, and digital tools that support confident decision-making.
Why attend?
- Learn from a completed cycle, not a forecast: The first FuelEU reporting period is behind us. See what it revealed about data quality, verification and the decisions that made a real financial difference.
- Know where your contractual exposure sits: Steamship Mutual on how FuelEU liability is allocated in practice between owners, managers and charterers – and what to check before joining a third-party pool.
- Treat pooling as a commercial decision: Ahti Climate on banking, borrowing and pooling in practice, the true cost of compliance, and what to settle well ahead of the next deadline.
- See how digital tools carry the reporting load: How NAPA’s monitoring, simulation and voyage optimization solutions turn FuelEU from an annual scramble into a managed, in-year process.
- Connect with peers and experts: Network with owners, managers, operators and chartering teams navigating the same regulatory landscape.
