NAPA Damage Stability Calculations Training
This three-day course covers all that you need to get started with damage stability calculations in NAPA.
The basic skills to use NAPA are required.
To begin with, the deterministic method is examined in order to familiarize the users with the damage stability concepts in NAPA. This part of the course is useful for those who have not used the Damage Stability subsystem before.
The course continues with the probabilistic method according to SOLAS II-1, including the index calculation, and Regulations 8 and 9. The calculation routine is gone through step by step for both cargo and passenger ships, by using NAPA Manager application for probabilistic damage stability calculations, known as PROB Manager.

Minimum number of participants
The minimum number of participants for the course is three (3) persons.
The course will be conducted in English.
The fee for the course is 2500 € (in Helsinki) per participant (0% VAT). This covers the instruction and course material.

Deadline for registration is three (3) weeks prior to the course.
The confirmation letter will be sent to the registered participants by email as soon as the minimum number of registrations have been received but not later than 3 weeks prior to the course.
