Senior Software Developer – Platform Team

NAPA software is used by shipyards, owners, designers, operators and charterers, classification societies, research institutes, authorities, consultancies and universities. NAPA has over 400 user organizations for design applications and more than 2,500 installations onboard.
We are now looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Platform Team in Galati, Romania. The position is permanent and full-time.
What software would I develop in this role?
NAPA Design Solutions team develops ship design software. Our 3D modeling and design functionalities are the most powerful in the industry, making ship design process the best it can be. Built-in development and customizable capabilities enable users to automate repetitive tasks and include user-specific ship design know-how into the system.
NAPA excels in design change and automation. Our customers can optimize their designs to completely new level compared to other ways of working.
What technologies would I use and how is the team?
We use technologies including C# and WPF and we have implemented agile software development practices. We are looking for a solid team player who enjoys collaborating with other developers, clients and other stakeholders in ship design industry worldwide. You will be part of a team of 8 members including experienced developers.
What we expect from you
It would be good if you would have earlier experience in the field of software development. Knowledge of C#, WPF, Telerik and MVVM or some of them would be appreciated. Experience in working with native programming languages and automated testing methods would help you to succeed in this job.
At NAPA our working language is English so you need to have a fluent written and oral English skills.
