For our office in Florida, USA we are seeking a

Technical Consultant

We have a great career opportunity for an experienced Technical Consultant. Your main responsibility will be working with a team of consultants to manage service-related tasks and projects while establishing relationships with external clients and servicing NAPA systems and software.

Your tasks will be more in detail

  • Responsible for onsite and remote support to our clients
  • Manage support requests through our ticketing system
  • Provide high-quality Customer Service with timely and accurate support
  • Coordinates troubleshooting, support, and service for NAPA’s software and network when necessary
  • Share client’s assessments and status with the team
  • Install, configure, and deploy new hardware / software as well as upgrades and maintenance
  • Provide training, technical consulting and mentoring to clients to ensure efficient use of NAPA’s capabilities
  • Research and provide solutions to clients
  • Monitor and manage NAPA’s systems, specializing in meeting the customer’s needs and expectations
  • Collaborate with team members to investigate problems and develop solutions
  • Accountable for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis

The following qualifications are required

  • Professional experience in the field or in related area
  • Ability to build relationships while emphasizing excellent customer service
  • Relevant education (B.Sc./M.Sc. in Naval Architecture or Computer Science or equivalent)
  • A good understanding of critical thinking and problem solving proficiency
  • Hands-on, development-minded person who has a passion to learn new things
  • Must have a solid understanding of decision making and self-motivation
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Ready and willing to travel
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

The following qualifications are considered a plus

  • Knowledge of ship operations
  • Experience in working with networks in Windows domain
  • Experience working within the cruise industry
  • Acquaintance in conducting trainings and providing technical advice
  • Previous knowledge of NAPA products
