We are seeking a 3D Geometry Developer
What awaits you?
You will be working on our 3D CAD product NAPA Designer, initially the work will be related to our surface definition tools for designing ship hull forms and other curved surfaces. This will require developing new functionality to our in-house geometry kernel. In this role, you can use your skills and expertise to change the global marine industry for the better, developing solutions that make it safer, more efficient and environmentally friendly. You will work in an autonomous and international team of experts using agile methods. Last but not least, you will be in contact with our clients regularly because we want to make the best software in the industry.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a person with:
- Earlier experience in developing CAD Software and 3D geometry kernel
- Strong skills in object-oriented programming
- Good mathematical skills
Any earlier experience in 3D graphics programming or desktop software development is an advantage and preferably you also have a degree in computer science, mathematics or physics or other applicable field of study. The development is done using C# and to some extent C, F# and Fortran. At NAPA our working language is English so you need to have fluent written and oral English skills.
