For our office in Helsinki, Finland we are seeking an

HR SPECIALIST (Maternity leave cover 1-1,5yrs)

We are looking for a versatile and IT-orientated HR professional to join our global Human Resource Team for the position of HR Specialist (maternity leave cover). This role offers you an excellent view to the global marine industry as well as an opportunity to support and influence an organization consisting of highly experienced professionals. NAPA’s agile, self-managed organization model means that you will have both the autonomy and the responsibility to conduct your work independently, whilst simultaneously being part of a dedicated, passionate team of HR colleagues.

HR Specialist has a wide range of responsibilities in many areas of human resource activities. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Functioning as an administrator of NetSuite ERP system and M-Files document management system in HR functions.
  • Execution of basic HR processes such as enter, change and departure, and supporting the organization with employment matters.
  • Functioning as the NAPA Finland payroll coordinator, who complies the payroll material for our external payroll service provider on a monthly basis.
  • Administration of employee benefits and contribution towards NAPA’s remuneration processes is expected, too.

We are looking for a person with a minimum of bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2-3 years of hands-on experience in the kind of work tasks described above. General knowledge of labour law, collaborative agreements and human resources processes/practices is a must. Previous experience in working with HRIS helps a great deal.

Possessing personal qualities such as a positive, collaborative, can-do attitude and result-achieving traits means that you will find it easy to manage the work of HR Specialist. Experience of working in multi-cultural environment is a great asset and an excellent knowledge of both English and Finnish is essential in succeeding in this role.
