NAPA In-House Initial Training
Dive into the World of NAPA!
After the course the participants have basic knowledge about NAPA as a ship design and statutory calculation program. The participants are able to create their own ship project from start and after defining all the necessary definitions, conduct calculations and output with the created model.
This five-day course is intended for persons who have no or little previous NAPA experience.
The course consists of a coherent package of basic information needed in modeling and calculation with NAPA. During the week, every participant will create a complete 3D ship model containing the hull form and all the compartments. The basic hydrostatic and stability calculations are conducted by using the created ship model. The most common general NAPA tools, such as Text and Table Editors, Calculator and output tools, are also covered in the course.

Minimum number of participants
The minimum number of participants for the course is four (4) persons.
The course will be conducted in English.
The fee for the course is 2000 € (in Helsinki) per participant (0% VAT). This covers the instruction and course material.

Deadline for registration is three (3) weeks prior to the course.
The confirmation letter will be sent to the registered participants by email as soon as the minimum number of registrations have been received but not later than 3 weeks prior to the course.
