In combat situations, it must be possible both to evaluate the ship’s survivability and to make well-informed decisions very quickly. NAPA Loading Computer provides effective tools for this decision-making process.
- Assessment of ship stability in intact and damaged conditions
- Assessment of the effect of other deadweight items, such as ammunition, etc
- Calculation of longitudinal strength and providing alerts if limits are exceeded
- Assessment of the residual strength after collision or combat damage
In addition, the NAPA Loading Computer Decision Support concept provides even more advanced tools for dealing with on board emergencies, for example, in combat situations.
Integration with the Platform Management System
In many naval solutions, various systems need to be integrated with the naval ship’s Platform Management System (PMS). It is often the case that different systems have varying requirements for stability/decision support systems. Should the standard NAPA Loading Computer system not meet these requirements, it is also possible to utilize NAPA Loading Computer merely as a calculation engine, and to build a new customized graphical user interface by using the NAPA API solution. This allows the PMS provider to prepare a GUI that meets all the specific needs while also providing the client with most of the functionalities that NAPA Loading Computer offers.
