Offshore Structure Stability
NAPA's Offshore Structure Stability Manager guides the user through the process of offshore structure stability analysis.
The application has been designed to handle typical offshore regulations such as the IMO, ABS, NMD and DNV MODU codes.
Wind moments from wind tunnel tests or from IMO type wind moment formulations can be defined easily and linked to any condition studied. The process of intact and damage stability analysis is geared towards producing three main results:
- maximum VCG plots
- stability analysis reports
- watertight and weathertight integrity diagrams, to be included in the freeboard plan
With the OSS Manager application, the user can easily follow the stability analysis process, defining loading conditions, wind moments, damage cases, through to checking criteria, calculating limiting VCG values and generating the required documentation.
